The Setting Sun features a house living on the edge.  The sun is fading.  It remains on solid ground however. All concepts converging at once in an incredibly tranquil and beautiful setting.  When you spend a little time with this painting you start to notice the vast ocean and details of the house, all alone, but somehow this house has a purpose, a hidden meaning, only known to the inhabitants inside.
