Title:  11 AM

I often travel to the coasts to sketch, photograph, and paint for upcoming shows – one of my longtime favorite places being Truro and Wellfleet, MA. This painting, 11 AM, was made during Fall 2020 after a painting trip to Cape Cod.  The golden, tall grasses were bending from a warm breeze as I studied the ocean and sky.  It was a beautiful day with abundant sunshine and a deep, sparkling blue ocean. A house I had noticed along the roads, a classic, white New England style Hopperesque home, became my focal point.
