Title: Cape Winter
I have always enjoyed looking at lifeguard towers in different beach towns where I go to paint and sketch – from California to Cape Cod. Especially in this time of Covid 19, with the pandemic requiring many to quarantine, I felt the urge to explore their symbolism and solitary watchfulness in this moment.
